Project completion on budgeting process automation

On July 18, 2018 the Oracle company announced project completion on automation in PJSC SK Rosgosstrakh of processes of budgeting using a public cloud service of Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service. The financial block of the company performs planning in a cloud with detailing to each of nearly 1600 sales points and is going to expand detailing to 32 thousand insurance agents. Budgeting of the sales plan for 2018 is conducted in Oracle Cloud.

According to the results of the project all budget process forms in a cloud system in Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service.

Setup of a circuit of budgeting in Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service came to the end in 5 months. 300 employees of the company started calculation of the budget for 2018 in a cloud. In further plans Rosgosstrakh is increase in number of users, direct participants of process of budgeting up to 500, deepening of detailing to each agent which number, according to the strategy of the company, will grow to 50 thousand for 3 years, automation of planning on the basis of standards and other advanced opportunities.

Implementation of a cloud service of Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service

On March 21, 2018 the Oracle company announced implementation of a cloud service of Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service for process automation of budgeting and planning with a possibility of detailing to the level of each insurance department or the agency of Rosgosstrakh company. The insurance company of Russia received the hi-tech instrument of business planning in combination with advantages of a cloud environment.

Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service automates accomplishment of tasks for which earlier in the company used Excel, and will become the uniform tool for their solution with a possibility of modeling of different budget scenarios both from top to down, and from below up. The cloud solution will allow to perform detailed planning up to each of more than 2000 sales points of Rosgosstrakh and tens of thousands of insurance agents of the company.

At the same time an opportunity to execute multiscenario modeling, to support deep detailing of analytics, including on types of insurance, territories and sales channels and also to carry out full calculation of standards of the regulator and specific insurance indicators remains.

The scalability of the solution, total cost of ownership and broad functionality became decisive factors for the choice of Oracle as the supplier of cloud services for Rosgosstrakh.

The first users already got to work in a cloud system at the end of February. In further plans of Rosgosstrakh company — increase in number of users of service, solution integration with other information systems of insurance company.
