2018: New services of cloud security

At own Think 2018 conference the IBM company announced new cloud services of IBM Cloud Hyper Protect which ensure data security by means of the technologies used in mainframes of IBM System Z.

According to developers, new solutions simplify to the companies safe connection to public cloud services and help them to solve problems which arise in the course of migration — from acceleration of transfer of workloads and upgrade and expansion of existing applications to providing tools which are necessary for creation of corporate cloud applicaions of new generation.

Security technologies of mainframes appeared in a cloud of IBM

The IBM Cloud Hyper Protect set included Protect DBaaS, Containers, Developer Starter Kits and Crypto Services. The last, according to in the company, presents itself(himself) the building block solution, the first at the market of public clouds, for cloud security of the equipment certified according to the highest industry standards of cryptography (FIPS 140-2 Level 4).

Through IBM Cloud Hyper Protect Crypto Services developers can implement in the applications of function of data encryption and key management. These services introduce possibilities of mainframes of IBM Z in IBM Cloud cloud through modern cryptographic technology which found application in large banks and financial institutions, transfers the eWeek edition.

IBM Cloud Hyper Protect DBaaS is developed to allow the enterprises to protect cloud databases, like MongoDB, loading data, are strongly protected and confidential.

IBM Cloud Hyper Protect Containers is intended for deployment of container applications and microservices, using the solution IBM Cloud Container.

IBM Cloud Hyper Protect Developer Starter Kits helps developers of a corporate IOS-APPLICATIONS with a cloud of IBM Cloud to protect the identification information, services and data by means of cloud Hyper Protect service.^[1]
