The Russian TrueConf Server integrated video conference courts and prisons of Switzerland

At the end of March, 2018 it became known that Ministry of the Interior and Justice of the Canton of Zurich (Switzerland) developed the Russian system video conferencings TrueConf Server in judicial halls of a vedomtsv. The solution fixes a problem of compulsory personal attendance of the court sessions condemned during all stages and also cuts down expenses on transportation of prisoners.

According to representatives of the ministry, workflows of department considerably were at a loss need of personal presence of all participants of legal procedure that often led to unjustified delay in judicial listenings. Regular transportation of prisoners to judicial authorities required essential expenses of public funds for lease of transport and created serious risks for the staff of the organization.

For cost reduction and optimization of workflow in the ministry as a result made the decision to implement a visual communication system. The task a task to find program a solution VIDEOCONFERENCING which would provide complete data encryption for prevention of unauthorized access to confidential judicial information was charged to specialists from the ministry. Important selection terms of a system were also an opportunity for work in the closed network without connection to the Internet and easy integration with the Active Directory directory service. Experts of the ministry tested program system of video conferences of TrueConf Server, results of tests completely met requirements of the customer.

The TrueConf system is simple in installation and setup that it completely conforms to requirements of our organization — the engineer of IT systems of the ministry commented on work of TrueConf Server of Giovanni Minasi. — We also estimated comfortable integration with groups at the Active Directory.

As a result of implementation of TrueConf Server integrated 45 points in halls of courts and prisons of the Canton of Zurich. The VKS system functions in the closed network without a possibility of unauthorized connection and a foreign information access and to data. For holding sessions of video conference in courts and prisons where prisoners contain, the standard PCs with installed applications of TrueConf for Windows delivered together with TrueConf Server are used. As the equipment webcams and speakerphones are used.

Implementation of video conference of TrueConf in the judicial system of the ministry considerably simplified judicial proceedings in Switzerland, made them safer and less costly.
