RT-Invest will implement in Moscow area technologies of Internet of Things in the field of housing and public utilities

The RT-Invest company entering into State Corporation Rostec, and Mosoblgaz in March, 2018 signed the agreement on cooperation in the field of creation of a single digital platform for Internet of Things in the territory of the Moscow region. A project objective is service quality improvement and also implementation of modern domestic technologies in the field of collecting and data transmission about a gas rate, the press service of Mosoblgaz reports.
"The basis of the digital platform is formed by domestic technologies which our company developed together with a team of young scientists and specialists within project implementation for Platon state systems and" ERA-GLONASS". This technology of creation of national LPWAN using the system of protection of data transmission. The technology was created in 2017 and underwent successful implementation in transport telematics, and in the last two months on its base will unroll control of movement of waste on the majority of polygons of the Moscow region. The new domestic technology standard by a number of parameters exceeds such high-tech solutions as LORA (USA) and SigFox (EU) that makes him by the worthy competitor in the world market", – the CEO of RT-Invest emphasized Andrey Shipelov.
The digital platform will become uniform for housing sectors, security and transport. Development of the project Internet of Things in housing and communal services is aimed at providing the automatic not adjusted accounting and control gas - water - and energy consumption, automatic control of fullness of tanks for collecting of solid utility waste, control of tightness of networks and existence of leakages and also automatic management of street lighting. Application of the digital platform will positively affect and on the sphere of security – in the online mode a system collects information from gas analyzers, preventing leaks, and accepts signals from sensors of the fire notification.
"Using the digital platform we are going to implement a transmission system of indications from gas meters. So subscribers will not need to enter indications manually, they will be displayed in a personal account of the client of Mosoblgaz automatically. It considerably will increase reliability, energy efficiency and efficiency of gas metering that is especially important, considering that Mosoblgaz has about 3 million subscribers. Besides, a system will allow to carry out monitoring of the technology objects of gas infrastructure located across all territory of Moscow area", – the head of Mosoblgaz Dmitry Golubkov told.
The parties agreed to develop the road map of creation of a single digital platform of Internet of Things, to work terms of return of investments into creation of the platform in the territory of Moscow area and to draft the investment agreement with the government of the Moscow region on creation of a single digital platform for Internet of Things in the territory of the region.
