2018: AI and initial software development rates
At the beginning of April, 2018 Microsoft started two new online courses within the professional educational program. One of projects is expected beginners and intended for training in software development, and the second is addressed to more experienced programmers and concerns writing of algorithms of the artificial intelligence (AI).
The TechCrunch edition notes that in the market there are not enough machine learning, processing and data analysis specialists therefore it is no wonder that some large companies began to teach bases of these disciplines to the employees. Microsoft went further and opened for everyone access to the training courses of AI which were initially developed for internal use in the company.
Free training on artificial intelligence (Microsoft Professional Program for Artificial Intelligence) is well free on the website edX.org. For the mezzanine board it is possible to receive the certificate on passing of rates, each of which lasts three months and starts at the beginning of a quarter.
All program consists of 10 lessons (everyone lasts from 8 to 16 hours) covering many aspects of development of artificial intelligence technologies: possibilities of use of AI, basis of the Python programming language for data processing, ethical and legal framework of use of AI, creation of modules of deep training, development of applied solutions AI, etc.
Considerable attention is paid to opportunities of cloud services Azure (for training the corresponding account is necessary) and API- to interfaces Microsoft Cognitive Services, however the most part of the educational program does not depend on the operating system which is used by the trainee.
Besides, Microsoft started a rate for beginning developers of software. He turns on 13 sessions in which the emphasis on programming essentials and use of the Python and JavaScript languages is placed. Besides, different basic things, like data structures and use of GitHub are considered.[1]
