Rostec created a uniform IT system for 700 organizations of Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation

Rostec announced on April 5, 2018 creation within the contract with Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation of the protected data network which integrated hundreds of organizations of medico-social examination in 72 regions of the country. The IT system is designed to increase efficiency of work of ITU organizations and availability of measures of social protection to physically disabled people. The project is implemented within the digitalizations program of economy of Russia.

"the national Center of Informatization" became the contractor (the NCI, is included into Rostec). Selection of the contractor was made by Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation on the basis of an auction during which the maximum starting price of the contract was reduced more than by 20%.

The created network integrates information and computing resources, telecommunication services, application, system and intellectual services of ITU organizations through the whole country in a single automated system.

Modules of enciphering, firewalling, detection of invasions and control of security are composition. It provides confidential information protection, transferred on open networks of providers, allows to reveal unauthorized access attempts and illegitimate penetration into a system and also to perform autosearch of vulnerabilities in components of network, emphasized in Rostec.

The project is large-scale, affects more than 700 organizations on all territory of the country, including in hardly accessible areas and the region of the Far North. A system processes big arrays of personal data and confidential medical information therefore serious requirements were imposed to information security support. The NCI successfully performed work in full and in time, having once again confirmed the competences in the field of creation of complex geographically distributed IT systems — the chairman of the board of directors of NCI, the director of Rostec of special instructions Vasily Brovko said.
