Creation of transaction processing system of suburban travel documents
The "Central Suburban Passenger Company" (JSC Centralnaya PPK) open joint stock company is the suburban passenger company servicing passengers on all directions of the Moscow Railway and the largest of 22 PPK existing in Russia. Daily Central PPK transports more than 1.6 million passengers.
TSOPPD represents the geographically distributed multicomponent system providing sales processes and control of suburban travel documents.
- A system provides sale and control of tickets for more than 1440 stopping points
- A system ensures functioning of 12 types of different devices (ticket printing machines, tourniquets, cash desks, terminals of the controller and other devices)
- Composition – 19 different subsystems including the Data Processing Center (DPC), an accounting system and the analysis, management of the reference information, an analysis system of the facts of fraud, agency sales, managements of updating and monitoring of the equipment, and others.
On April 3, 2018 the Software product company announced that "Central Suburban Passenger Company" (CSPC) finished updating of a system of sales of travel documents (TSOPPD).
Started upgrade of tourniquets and the TsPPK ticket printing machines in December, 2017. According to the results of the carried-out works in ticket printing machines an expanded set of functions: execution of several tickets or subscriptions in one order became possible, "Prolongation of the subscription", the subscription with a cycle option appeared.[1]
It is supposed that all cashiers within a year will receive bank terminals for sale of tickets in trains on bank cards. Thanks to updating of a system of sales in the companies are going to start online sale of single tickets for journey.
The specialists of Software product company who developed the software both for servers of a system of sales, and for the final equipment — tourniquets, ticket printing machines (BPA), stationary cash desks, the portable data terminals of controllers (PDTC), validators and infoterminal, terminals of advance sale of tickets (TPPD) took part in the project.
