Integration will provide quality improvement of rendering medical services to inhabitants of the region. Existence of integration between systems allows doctors to make out remotely the directions on analyses in Gemotest laboratory and to quickly receive results from a laboratory information system in the electronic medical record of the patient. It, in turn, saves the patient's time for receiving an analysis result — Irina Karpunina, the deputy CEO of BARS Group explained.

The medical laboratory "Gemotest" is the research center which is carrying out medical analyses for patients from all Russia. Setup of electronic interaction of RMIS with an information system of Gemotest laboratory will allow to transfer automatically the direction to carrying out analyses to laboratory from the medical organization of the region. On acceptance the doctor creates in MIS the direction on necessary researches which there should pass a patient.

Based on carrying out the analysis, its results in the automatic mode are transmitted back to MIS and become available to the attending physician who wrote out the direction on a laboratory research. Thus, time of carrying out laboratory researches and processes of a design of the direction is reduced. At the same time the exception of a human factor reduces risks of errors and data loss, emphasized in BARS Group. Existence of integration gives to Gemotest laboratory an opportunity to control the planned volume of researches on the directions from the medical organizations of the Novosibirsk region.
