Velocity (program for radiation therapy)

2018: A release of the version with the module Rapidsphere

On April 9, 2018 the Varian Medical Systems company provided a new software version for treatment of malignant diseases of a liver of Velocity which includes Rapidsphere – the module for the dosimetric analysis of the selection internal radiation therapy (SIRT). Rapidsphere allows doctors to estimate the response of a tumor to treatment and toxicity of therapy for normal fabric at the patients receiving SIRT.

Rapidsphere works at a software platform of Velocity which carries out the assessment of therapy and processes the data obtained from the different systems that allows clinical physicians to gain a comprehensive impression about diagnostics and therapy of patients. Rapidsphere represents the integrated system for calculation of the absorbed dose which is used on the basis of an issue tomography after Y90 SIRT.

Varian released software for the dosimetric analysis of the selection internal radiation therapy

Velocity 4.0 includes several new features, including Velocity M3i is the software for receiving multimodal the image of the movement which allows to display at the same time up to 10 results of different researches (KTMPT//PET/ultrasonography/SPECT / konusno-luchevaya KT); Velocity ARIA® Sync is the device of automatic synchronization of the selected objects and preserving of data of Velocity one mouse click using ARIA and Eclipse; Velocity Tumor & Dose Tracking is the software for detection of a tumor and efficiency evaluation of radiation therapy on the basis of images after several courses of treatment.^[1]
