Iterbi completed the project according to processes of SAM in Servisclouda

2019: Project completion according to processes of management of program assets

On August 6, 2019 the ITERBI company reported that it completed the project according to processes of management of program assets on compliance to requirements of the ISO/IEC 19770-1:2012 standard in Serviscloud company.

According to the company, for estimated inspection the methodology of ITERBI company based on concepts and approaches of the ISO/IEC 19770-1:2012 standard "By Informatsionnye technologii. Management of the software was used. Part 1. Processes".

Results of assessment of processes of SAM are based on the studied tools, procedures and business processes of the company, proceeding from requirements of each of 27 groups of processes of the standard.

Our company decided to follow the recommendations of experts of ITERBI received in a project deliverable of SAM for Hosting and to initiate the project according to processes of management of program assets on compliance to requirements of the ISO/IEC 19770-1:2012 standard to receive independent expert evaluation by opportunities of improvement of our SAM system.

Consultants of ITERBI were faced by a task to estimate applied in Serviscloud companies of the policy of SAM and level of system effectiveness of management of program assets, to make recommendations about improvement.

Within the project experts of ITERBI provided the detailed report on compliance acting the politician, procedures and processes of Serviscloud company regarding management of program assets to the stated level of the ISO/IEC 19770-1:2012 standard. Jointly with specialists Serviscloud developed the plan of improvement of processes of management of IT assets for achievement of the following level of the standard and a packet of missing local regulating documents.

Similar assessment determines the current level of a maturity of the SAM system and provides preparation and work planning on its increase. Application the practician of the ISO/IEC 19770-1:2012 standard gives the chance of step-by-step implementation and improvement of processes of management of program assets according to the purposes and priorities of organization development. The practical nature of recommendations allows the company to plan specific steps which will allow to bring a management system for program assets to higher level.

In a project deliverable the customer received the full analysis of the current level of a maturity of the SAM system and a set of further steps for its maintenance and improvement on a permanent basis. What will allow the company not only to level the risks connected with use of program assets but also to optimize expenses on IT infrastructure.

2018

On April 17, 2018 the ITERBI company announced project completion of SAM for Hosting in Serviscloud company.

The Serviscloud company dynamically develops. The park of servers and a configuration of the equipment, topology of technical solutions is constantly optimized, the functionality is added, the current and future customer needs come to light.

For creation of the long-term development strategy the management Serviscloud needed to estimate internal processes of management of program assets, risks of use of software of Microsoft when rendering services, to receive recommendations about their elimination. For the solution of these tasks the company decided to seize the opportunity given to Microsoft for inspection of infrastructure within the Microsoft SAM Services project – SAM for Hosting, using experts of ITERBI company.

Within the project consultants of ITERBI inspected more than 300 physical and virtual servers, applications, studied documentation on work with end users.

In Serviscloud the automation equipment and self-services allowing to receive on a centralized basis orders of end users and to generate reports to the Reseller is implemented.

During the project specialists of ITERBI carried out analytics of documentation from an automated system, made detailed recommendations about improvement of internal processes of control of monthly accounting of license use of the software.
