2018: Announcement
Within the motor show in Beijing in April, 2018 the Daimler company presented the electric Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury crossover. In addition to magnificent execution, innovation received a number of the technologies deserving attention.
The hybrid of the crossover and sedan is equipped with four synchronous electric motors with permanent magnets which provide the four-wheel drive and the system of runtime allocation of draft. Total power of motors reaches 750 hp (550 kW). The block of batteries with a capacity of 80 kilowatt-hour located under a floor provides the maximum stock of the course at the level of 500 km. The accumulator supports wireless and high-speed charging from 350-kilowatt stations: it is possible to fill up a battery stock on 100 km of a way in only 5 minutes. The machine can accelerate up to 250 km/h.
In a zone of the meter panel there is a wide 12.3-inch display. The same screen is located with a row – in the central console. A multimedia system supports voice commands and has the artificial intelligence capable to self-training. For example, electronics can arrange climate control, lighting and aromatization of salon in the right frame of mind of passengers.
Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury has very specific appearance with references to classical cars with roundish contours. The average line halves the machine from a front edge of a cowl to back glass. The car received 24-inch rims, the chromeplated radiator grille and secret handles of doors.
The central tunnel of the machine was turned into a tea table. Several mugs and a teapot are available to passengers to a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. The producer notes that for other markets set can be another, probably, meaning a bottle of champagne and glasses for it.
Neither terms of the beginning of sales, nor cost of Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury at the time of the announcement it is not reported.[1]
