In Balti the BB-Dializ center ă opened

On April 12, 2018 in the city of Balti, Republic of Moldova, the BB-Dializ Center ă opened. Organization is expected two hundred patients with a renal failure in a terminal stage from all North of Moldova. The service for patients is free. Its expenses are completely covered by Fund of health insurance. As reported, by the time of opening the center accepted patients the third week, and he was visited already by more than 80 people.

The project on creation of the dialysis center in Balti is implemented on the basis of public and private partnership. Its cost was 1.3 million euros (about 98.66 million rubles). The area of the center exceeds 900 sq.m. Its equipment meets strict international standards: there are three dialysis halls, two independent sources of water, the generator on a blackout case, independent boilers and the special ventilation system which is not allowing to extend infectious microbes through center premises.

In total the BB-Dializ center ă is equipped with 32 devices for dialysis of the next generation. It will allow patients to get broader and simplified access to treatment of chronic diseases of kidneys according to the European standards.

All dialysis devices [groups] B.Braun have all necessary functions for safe and long-term treatment according to the international standards. It is possible to give Adimea as examples — a system which with a high accuracy, automatically and in real time measures efficiency of treatment and also the modern Dialog+ dialyzers performing a hemodialysis — told George Bulat, the director of B. Braun Avitum — the company delivering the medical equipment and supplies for a hemodialysis.

In a procedural office drugs are provided and there is all necessary equipment for rendering emergency medical service. Medical personnel — five doctors and 12 nurses — had special training in the field of dialysis, and engineers — training in training centers of dialysis in Romania and Germany.

As the medical director of the company of BB-Dializ ă marked out Petra Chepoyda, all patients of the center are initially diagnosed that allows to reveal and exercise dynamic control of complications of a chronic renal failure in a terminal stage in time.

Any detected complication will be corrected by introduction of the pathogenetic and metabolic therapy provided free of charge by the Center of dialysis. Ultrasound examination of an abdominal cavity, an echocardiography and roentgenography of a thorax will help to control possible complications of internals. Automation of dialysis facilitates service of patients — Chepoyda told.

Except the medical services provided by the BB-Dializ Center ă patients can use services of the nutritionist who will pick up the power supply adapted to specific regime of each patient included in dialysis. The psychologist whose main objective consists in emotional support of patients works with patients and personnel.

The purpose of dialysis services in the Republic of Moldova — to bring replacement therapy of kidney function into accord with the European standards and to reach the level of countries of Eastern Europe — professor Adrian Tanas, the chairman of ad hoc commission of a hemodialysis at the Ministry of Health, work and social protection said.

According to official figures for April, 2018, in Moldova — more than 600 people having a renal failure who undergo the procedure of a hemodialysis. 470 of them — patients of the centers of dialysis BB-Dializ ă in Chisinau and Balti.^[1]
