Prism Management system for discrete production

"Prism" — the automated control system for discrete production (ACSDP). It is the management tool the enterprise, including production of products, scientific and developmental developments, business activities and material security of all these types of activity.

ASUDP Prism is developed for management of all processes of discrete production at large and medium-sized enterprises with single-piece, small-lot and serial production. Contains a full range of solutions in this area. In Prism the closed multi-layer system of planning is implemented.

The Prism system was created as an import-independent product for digital control by all processes on small-lot and serial production, under requirements of Russian enterprises.

Specific Features

A system uses domestic development for monitoring of machines and personnel Manager from Digit. The AIS "Manager" as a part of ASUDP Prism is intended for remote monitoring of operation of CNC machines:

• determinations of a real picture of loading and rhythm of operation of the equipment in real time,
• data collection with a possibility of preserving for several years,
• report generation about operation of the equipment.

Thanks to technologies of industrial Internet of Things Prism creates uniform digital space at the enterprise, integrating production process with schedule systems and accounting.

The Prism system was created as an import-independent product for digital control by all processes on small-lot and serial production, under requirements of Russian enterprises. Today Prism is implemented on four industrial platforms of State corporation by Rosstat: Federal State Unitary Enterprise VNIIA im. N. L. Dukhova (Moscow), Federal State Unitary Enterprise All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Technical Physics of the Academician E.I. Zababakhin (Snezhinsk), Federal State Unitary Enterprise Software Mayak (Ozyorsk), Federal State Unitary Enterprise UEMZ (Yekaterinburg"). Within these projects more than 300 machines are connected to an equipment monitoring system Manager that is one of the largest "digital" parks of industrial equipment within State corporation.

System implementation on production of Federal State Unitary Enterprise VNIIA im. N. L. Dukhova increased operating time of CNC machines (numerical control) during which they make something, by 27%. Connection of machines to the Manager system showed a real picture on production and revealed "bottlenecks". Due to control of loading of the equipment and increase in discipline of operators a downtime when the equipment is not used, decreased on average for 428 hours a month that makes about 4 additional changes with one machine. Inventory turnover was reduced from 149 days to 109 due to transition to the system of formation of orders by the principles of lean production.
