On April 25, 2018 the film studio of Gorky announced the implementing solution Raidix of DWH which provides simultaneous access to data from several mounting stations and supports steadily high processing speed of multiple video flows.
Selecting model of DWH, the studio focused on maintenance of the highest not reduced performance for processing of video content and a possibility of flexible integration with Xsan. Delivery of DWH was performed by the partner of Raidix — FeelSystems company.
Use of Raidix allows to work at the same time with multiple 2K/4K flows at high speeds and, as a result, to reduce a set-up time of projects to air by 2–4 times. Besides, software of Raidix provides not reduced performance of DWH even in case of failure to 3 disks at the same time and eliminates the hidden errors on data media.
In studio the solution Raidix is implemented in two configurations:
- 36h6TB one volume 144TB RAIDIX 4.4.2 2016/XSan Apple 17 of clients + StorNext FX (BaseLight + Clipster);
- 36h4TB one volume 132TB RAIDIX 3.3.0 2014/XSan Apple 11 of clients.
