Biography

Yury Konstantinovich Okoyomov was born in 1962 in the village Cossack the Verkhoyansk district Yakut the ASSR.

In 1979 graduated from physical and mathematical school in YaASSR settlement of Verkhnevilyuysk.

Graduated in 1985 from National University of Science and Technology as "A physicist of metals", in 1996 — Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation with qualification assignment "The manager of the highest category".

Labor activity of the beginnings in 1985 as the trainee-researcher at Institute of physics and technology problems of the North of the Yakut branch of the Siberian department of Academy of Sciences of the USSR where worked till 1992.

From 1988 to 1989 – the worker, the carpenter-concreter, the carpenter-fitter of Yakutzhilstroy trust, Spetsstroymekhanization trust of Glavyakutstroy (Yakutsk) on construction of the youth residential complex (YRC).

Since 1992 — the specialist, the leading specialist of department of diamond tools of JSC Tuymaada Daymond.

1992 — 1993 — the manager of the sector of the monocrystal tool, the technical director of JSC Sakha Daymond.

1993 — 2000 — the first deputy, the director of the Yakut enterprise for trade in diamonds (YaPTA) of JSC ALROSA.

2000: CEO of "Uniform sales organization ALROSA"

2000 — 2009 — the CEO of "The uniform sales organization ALROSA".

Since August 6, 2009 — the vice president of JSC ALROSA. Supervises questions of sales policy of the company.

For May 7, 2018 Yury Konstantinovich Okoyomov works as the deputy CEO of ALROSA company.
