QTECH QBM-S MPLS-TP equipment

2018: QBM-S43-BOX.V8E, QBM-S442000 и QBM-S452000

On May 11, 2018 the Russian developer of network and telecommunication equipment QTECH announced release of a product line on the basis of MPLS-TP technology and provided three types of the equipment.

Applied to packet networks, MPLS-TP guarantees quality of service and diagnostic service at the level of traditional highly reliable TimeDivision and SDH technologies. At the same time in MPLS-TP it is possible to allow use of the general band and some resubscription, noted in QTECH.

QBM-S43-BOX.V8E

Combination of SDH and MPLS-TP in one platform is QBM-S43-BOX.V8E. Continuation of development of SDH of QBM-S43 platform. The hierarchy level of SDH includes STM-64 interface. MPLS-TP a packet switching resource by performance 32Gbps is added.

Among the main characteristics:

• To 4*STM-64, to 2*10GE of interfaces;
• The connectivity of SDH of loadings with MPLS-TP loadings based on the SAToP and CESoPSN protocols. In the opposite direction connectivity under the GFP, LCAS protocols;
• Inheritance of all SDH cards of QBM-S43 platform;
• Upgrade of the integrating printed circuit board with doubling of tire structure to increase reliability of the equipment.

QBM-S442000

The equipment MPLS-TP with static purpose of connections — QBM-S442000. Guarantees the level of SLA service for each connection. Thus, enters parameters of quality of service for package connection at the expense of the organization of OAM channel (Operation, Administration, Maintenance) having the same route of passing, as connection for data. At the same time connections (tunnels) are established by the operator using a management system for the equipment.

It is the most budget platform which has the good performance of a resource of packet switching — 64 Gbps. Capacity of ports for this chassis: to 4*10GE and 24*GE. Transfer of traffic of E1 and unchannelized STM-1 interfaces in a packet network under the SAToP and CESoPSN protocols is possible.

QBM-S452000

The equipment MPLS-TP with dynamic purpose of connections — QBM-S452000. Most fully represents possibilities of MPLS-TP technology. Integrates MPLS-TP-and IP/MPLS function in one device. Switching resource performance — 56 Gbps. Supports connection establishment using Control Plan, using the OAM BFD format.

All platforms have 100% compatibility and are controlled from a single system of management — SDH NMS.

QBM-S43-BOX.V8E and QBM-S442000 are already available in QTECH to testing and further purchase, QBM-S452000 is at a stage of internal testing and will leave, according to preliminary data, in the 3rd quarter 2018.
