Rostelecom "The smart city" in Lipetsk implements a pilot project

Rostelecom "The smart city" in Lipetsk implements a pilot project. Representatives of the company and administration of the region signed the corresponding tripartite agreement on May 16, 2018. The parties should define stages of project implementation and to carry out the analysis of the required amounts of financing.

The intellectual platform of "The smart city" collects and generalizes data of city services and departments. On the basis of it it makes the forecast of possible development of the situation. System operation is directed to creating favorable conditions of accommodation, business activity and acceptance of competent management decisions.

The provider of digital services and solutions already implemented some solutions of "The smart city" in Lipetsk. Specialists of Rostelecom integrated all services of the city on duty and dispatching in uniform Call center of "System-112". Operators of service of rescue accept voice and SMS messages in real time with determination of exact location of the subscriber. On the basis of electronic cards the manager obtains information on the scene and machines of emergency services which are nearby. It allows to help the victim quickly. The Video surveillance project is also responsible for safety of citizens. 960 cameras watch a situation in pripodjezdny territories of apartment houses, 16 cameras monitor a traffic status in the city.

Also project implementation will become one more example of successful interaction of the power and business".

Our purpose – to create an intelligent system which will help to predict a situation in the city and to make strategically verified decisions".

Intelligent systems in Lipetsk will be developed by Rostelecom taking into account successful experience of projects implementation of "The smart city" in the neighboring regions. So, in April, 2018 Rostelecom completed the power service contract on upgrade of street lighting in Smolensk. "Smart lighting" will save budgetary funds for 70% due to decrease in energy consumption. This solution not only automated a number of tasks, but also ensured safety of drivers and pedestrians on roads. The innovation management system allows to set the most effective mode of lighting, depending on time of day and climatic conditions. The similar project is implemented in the Ivanovo region. In the Moscow region the provider of digital services implemented the Uniform information and analytical system of housing and communal services (EIAS housing and public utilities). Thanks to service residents of Moscow area obtain up-to-date, reliable and full-fledged information about volumes of consumption of utilities, charges and payments on one convenient resource.
