On May 22, 2018 the HTS company, the official distributor of Stulz in Russia, presented the solution – micro data center of STULZ Micro DC which feature is the possibility of a configuration according to all main design features of the DPC of the equipment placed in the building, including control systems of critical power and monitoring, fire extinguishing, physical protection and precision cooling.

STULZ Micro DC is the economic solution for fast accumulation of local computing power where it is necessary. This building highly effective block solution is easily scaled for satisfaction of both today's requirements, and the growing requests of tomorrow, including – in the conditions of limited space. Standard 19-inch racks contain blocks from 40U to 48U on height and can be equipped with such additional hardware as the UPS, the power distribution block, the system of laying of cables, LED illumination, the block of fire extinguishing, the camera. Also the solution can include the software for monitoring and control of the environment.

Micro DC are delivered both in option with one rack, and in the form of the system collected on site including to six racks. For ensuring reliable work in adverse conditions the cabinet can be equipped with protection against dust and moisture or against physical penetration according to IP55 standard. Possible scopes of STULZ Micro DC stretch from implementation of peripheral calculations and the IoT systems to connection of IT-systems to production lines and industrial facilities.

In standard execution Micro DC has the built-in system of cooling (ICS™) for systems with a low and average density which can be set inside or on a sidewall. Internal fastening provides precision cooling with a performance of 3 kW – 5 kW and occupies 6U space while side fastening provides refrigerating capacity of 5 kW – 25 kW without use of internal space. ICS is available as a system the chiller-fankoil or with a refrigerating circuit.

For the high-performance STULZ systems in cooperation with CoolIT Systems proposes the innovative solution for cooling of Chip-to-Atmosphere which combines standard ICS with the system of direct fluid supply to a chip – direct water cooling (DCLC™). This modern technology uses exclusive heat conductivity of liquid for ensuring local cooling of the hottest components in the server that allows to implement a configuration with a very high density. Using DCLC technology of company CoolIT, STULZ Micro DC can take away from the equipment extreme amount of heat – to 80 kW on a rack. It expands Micro DC scope, including in it different applications with intensive calculations in the field of science, the equipment, researches and processing of large volumes of data.

The highly effective and energy saving solution with direct fluid supply to chips can be easily integrated in the existing water circuit, for example, to the return line of a circuit of the condenser, chiller or a circuit of a service water at the enterprise. Cooling with a temperature scope from 2 °C to 35 °C is performed using chillers, coolers, coolers of liquid or normal heat exchangers. The CoolIT DCLC technology was appreciated by most the main equipment manufacturers who place the servers with the built-in DCLC technology now.
