The government of the Novgorod region and MegaFon agreed about start of the solution "Digital Management Company"

On May 24, 2018 during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum the Government of the Novgorod region and MegaFon signed the agreement on digital service development in the region. It assumes implementation of digital projects and implementation of new technologies in the different industries of city life – in the field of state services, in municipal services, medicine and tourism. The signatures under the document were appended by the governor of the Novgorod region Andrey Nikitin and the CEO of MegaFon Sergey Soldatenkov.

Agreement signature marked start of partnership in a context of implementation of the digital agenda which will allow to give an impetus to economic development of the region and to increase quality of life of the population. The parties are going to develop and start new digital projects with use of advanced technologies: analysis of Big Data, m2m, Internet of Things. The arrangement also assumes further expansion of information and telecommunication infrastructure and construction of demonstration platforms for testing of new technologies. Representatives of MegaFon and heads of executive authorities of the region are going to create for this purpose the joint working group.

Among the industries in which it is supposed to apply the innovative solutions:

Housing and public utilities: for process automation and increase in convenience of services to residents, MegaFon will show the solution "Digital Management Company". The solution allows to collect automatically data of consumption of utilities from the connected counters, to make out bills to users and also to accumulate Big Data and to estimate efficiency of management company.

Health care: the digital platform for rendering telemedicine services will be tested. Its implementation can promote increase in availability of medical care to all residents of the area. The platform systematizes write process to the doctor and will simplify it for residents of the remote settlements and also provides to doctors access to stories of diseases and analysis results of patients.

Public services: especially for heads of the region MegaFon will show work of the Situational center – information space of the region which integrates all ministries and departments and also includes electronic document management, the protected conference communication and also a possibility of feedback from the population. In addition, the parties are going to use the advanced developments – analytics of Big Data, sensing technologies of the speech and platform solutions for carrying out a population census.

Tourism: implementation of the analytical platform using technology of Big Data in the field of tourism will allow to collect data on movements in the city for the further analysis. The digital solution will help to estimate efficiency of tourist actions in the region, to define target tourist groups and to target the communication directed to involvement of tourists.
