Logitech R500 Laser Presentation Remote

2018: Announcement

In May, 2018 the Logitech company provided the laser panel for holding the professional presentations. The device under the name Logitech R500 Laser Presentation Remote is compatible to all operating systems and can work at long distances.

As reported in the press release, the announced panel is suitable for the presentations on the projector screen, folding posters or three-dimensional models. Using the gadget which allows to be a laser pointer it is possible to work at distance up to 20 meters from the place of image output. It is possible to select and increase image fragments on the screen.

Logitech provided the laser panel for holding the professional presentations

Logitech R500 Laser Presentation Remote is connected to the computer through an USB receiver or an energy-saving technology of Bluetooth. The device is compatible to Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. The producer carries an ergonomic form, the soft rubberized surface and corrugated buttons thanks to which adaptation can be held in any hand conveniently to innovation advantages.

Logitech claims that Logitech R500 Laser Presentation Remote will allow speakers to keep on the presentations before audience surely and professionally.

The beginning of sales of the Logitech R500 Laser Presentation Remote model is planned for June, 2018. Its cost will be $60 that is approximately twice cheaper than the flagman panel of the Swiss producer — Spotlight.

Along with this office of Logitech submitted the updated software for remote controls the presentations — Logitech Presentation. Innovations in the application the following:

• for fixing of selection it is necessary to bring smoothly screen area of selection to the right place and just to leave in this provision;
• the timer can be installed depending on the plan of the presentation. It is possible to receive signals vibration through short periods or if to set a vibrosignal for a certain time on hours.^[1]
