Mail.Ru Group will help Gazprom Neft with creation of the global digital platform of business management

Gazprom Neft and Mail.Ru Group signed on May 24, 2018 the agreement on cooperation in the field of development and deployment of digital technologies and solutions of the industry 4.0. The document was signed by the chairman of the board of Gazprom Neft Alexander Dyukov and the CEO of Mail.Ru Group Boris Dobrodeyev.

Tasks

Development, testing and implementing solutions on accumulation and data processing in real time — Big Data and Fast Data — for optimization and increase in process performance in the field of logistics, processing and sale of oil products will become the key direction of joint work of specialists of Gazprom Neft and Mail.Ru Group. The universal system created on the basis of the Russian software which will allow to exercise online integrated management of production, implementation and the product delivery from production company assets to any place in the world will become result, as expected.

A system then is going to be integrated into the global IT platform of Gazprom Neft on which creation the company works within digital transformation of business. Besides, partners intend to be engaged jointly in development of the Russian industrial data bus for collecting, unification and information analysis in real time.

Working group

For exchange of experience, carrying out joint surveys and development of the innovative solutions in the oil and gas industry the specialized working group which will include Mail.Ru Group developers, specialists of the Center of Digital Innovations and Technopark of Gazprom Neft will be created. It is planned that prototypes of essentially new sales processes which in real time will react to changes of market situation will become result of joint work. It, in turn, will allow including to reduce costs and to level risks when carrying out payment transactions.

Approbation of technologies

Partners are going to perform approbation of technologies based on technology capacities of operators of bituminous and aviafuel businesses of the company — "Gazprom Neft — Bituminous Materials" and Gazpromneft-Aero respectively. Implementation of IT solution on supply management of bituminous materials in any point in preset time will become the first project as it is planned, that will increase efficiency of logistics of automobile transportations. Also the system of instant settlement on gas stations "in a wing" on the basis of blockchain technology will be created. Afterwards solutions will be replicated on other company assets and integrated into IT architecture of a single digital platform.
