Segezha Group and SAP signed the Agreement on cooperation in the field of digital technologies for business

On May 25, 2018 it became known that Segezha Group and SAP company signed the agreement on cooperation in the field of digital technologies for business. The document was signed by the president, the chairman of the board of Segezha Group Mikhail Shamolin and the CEO of SAP CIS Natalia Parmenova.

Under the agreement, SAP becomes the technology partner of group. Segezha Group in turn plans the program of digital transformation based on SAP solutions in 2018-2019.

At the first stage the signer companies agreed to implement pilot projects on the industry 4.0 on the SAP platform. The priority applied directions of pilots - optimization of parameters of cooking of cellulose on the Segezha PPM to Karelia, the forecast of parameters of quality of cellulose on an input in the paper machine, forecasting and prevention of breaks of paper on the airborne combat vehicle of the Segezha PPM.

Further plans of digital transformation integrate two directions: "a digital core" of the company based on S/4HANA and scenarios of the industry 4.0 using machine learning, Internet of Things, predictive analytics. In total these technologies will help Segezha Group to rethink all processes on production and to build the most effective management of assets, vendor relations and employees according to modern scenarios.
