"Digit" will help Gazprom Neft to create the first Digital plant

Gazprom Neft and Tsifra company signed on May 24, 2018 the agreement on cooperation when implementing the Digital Plant project. The document was signed by the deputy CEO of Gazprom Neft for logistics, processing and sale Anatoly Cherner and the CEO of Tsifra company Igor Bogachyov.

The Center of digital innovations of Gazprom Neft which is created by the company for search and implementation in business of technological solutions in the field of work with Big Data, predictive management, creation of digital doubles of infrastructure will act as the operator of the agreement.

This project offers wide prospects for creation of an ecosystem on the basis of the digital platform of continued production. We consider extremely important and perspective development of applied functional applications, libraries of artificial intelligence for enterprise management which can be available further to other companies as in the oil and gas industry, and other fields of the industry — the CEO of Tsifra company Igor Bogachyov emphasized.

About Digital plant

Digital plant is a part of the project of Gazprom Neft on creation in Russia of the digital platform for logistics management, production and sale of oil products. The company conducts work in this direction since 2017 and for project implementation involves in cooperation of leaders of the domestic IT market.

Pilot Digital plant will be implemented based on the enterprises "Gazpromneft — Bituminous Materials". Technological solutions which will prove the efficiency as a result of approbation on the pilot platform then are supposed to be replicated on other oil processing and production assets.

Work plan

Until the end of 2018 creation of a core of the IT platform, implementation of intelligent systems of control of movement of raw materials and materials and also the advanced software packages for optimization of calculations of economic and material calculation of balance of the enterprise is planned. After obtaining the digitized technology data transition to the second stage — to creation of a system of "digital doubles" of a production infrastructure for reliability control and technology operation modes of the equipment is supposed.

The expected effect

Use of "these lakes" and "data buses" which are an integral part of the implementable platform will allow to integrate, store and process information in the online mode, giving to specialists of Gazprom Neft an opportunity to quickly see changes of keyword production parameters and to manage them.
