"We bear responsibility for uninterrupted access of comprehensive schools of the republic to the Internet. It is a difficult task. Many schools are located in the area with a difficult mountainous terrain where for functioning of technologies more difficult technical solutions, than on the plain are required. But the republic is faced by a task to give to all school students equal educational opportunities. And it is solved: we create conditions for full educational process regardless of the location of schools".
Ruslan Yarakhmedov, director of the Dagestan branch PJSC Rostelecom

Within the government contract children and teachers had an opportunity of the round-the-clock use of network without volumes of the consumed traffic. Rostelecom provided access to federal educational resources and a multimedia content according to uniform conditions and requirements of techniques of training. At the same time access to the prohibited resources and content, not desirable for children, is limited.

Internet access is got by schools in the cities, foothill settlements, mountain localities, even on farms.

"Our village – one of the most mountainous in the republic. The Internet, e-mail, an opportunity to communicate in sostssetyakh with peers – now it became available and will help to broaden horizons of our school students. Many of large families. They cannot often travel not that to other regions, and even in Dagestan. The information network will help to move apart borders for children. It is important that children did not feel limited in communication, in obtaining necessary information. Access to network will help them to become surer, advanced, to implement interesting, somewhere even the ambitious ideas. And teachers will be able to organize educational process at qualitatively other level".
