BMTs-M — the automated system of centralization of arrows and signals developed especially for the subway.

Rostec provided on June 6, 2018 an automated system of microprocessor centralization of arrows and signals of BMTs-M which implementation is planned in Moscow Metro. It is created by the Russian specialists and is made at capacities of NICEVT of Ruselectronics holding.
As expected, the extent of the capital subway by 2021 will grow twice, the passenger traffic in proportion will increase, developments which will increase capacity of the transport systems are necessary, will improve their controllability and security for citizens. An automated system of centralization of arrows and signals for the subway — a hi-tech product which successfully underwent trial operation in Moscow Metro. Besides, in 2018 on a system the certificate allowing to start its mass implementation in the subway of Moscow and also other cities of Russia and the CIS countries is received, reported in Rostec.
As explained in state corporation, earlier transition to microprocessor centralization (MPTs) in the capital subway was not performed because of absence in the market of systems capable to meet all requirements of Moscow Metro. The existing MPTs systems for the trunk railroads did not conform to requirements of the subway first of all concerning high-speed performance, operational readiness and required serious completion.
Optimization of hardware and software allowed to make the BMTs-M system superfast: time of its reaction is only 100 ms. The solution conducts continuous recording of all movements of trains, operation parameters of devices and actions of personnel. At the same time the BMTs-M system meets all requirements for security imposed to the systems of railway automatic equipment, emphasized in Rostec.
The BMTs-M components are duplicated and work in the mode of hot sparing — at failure of one component there is an automatic switching on reserve without system operation interruption. BMTs-M is capable to reveal a prenegative status of devices for timely elimination of a malfunction.
