The BARS GROUP implemented the Alpha BI 4.0 platform in Tatenergo

On June 8, 2018 the BARS GROUP company, subsidiary company of the National Center of Informatization, announced development and deployment of the updated platform business – analysts of Alpha BI 4.0 for JSC Tatenergo. A system underwent trial operation, start in industrial is planned in the nearest future. Solution development for Tatenergo is the first project on implementation of the upgraded version of Alpha BI 4.0.

"In the conditions of often changing requirements both business, and in general an economic situation, heads of our company are forced to make management decisions quickly. For the purpose of decision making acceleration process of preparation of operational information should be most automated and flexible. Therefore the decision to apply possibilities of Alpha BI 4.0 in the "Implementation of Thermal Energy in the Company" direction was made. We expect from implementation of this software product not only automation in preparation of analytical reports in the heatsales block, but also possible forecasting of development of key indicators". Creation of a system took place in several stages: data collection and their analysis, design of the data warehouse, setup of regulated reports, forms and analytical panels. Separately It should be noted a stage of creation of an analytical data storage. The existing system in JSC Tatenergo did not assume storage of retrospective data which could reflect movements of the partner in the past. With respect thereto opportunities it was not qualitative to compare indicators for the last few years. Considering functioning of an internal system, BARS GROUP designed structure of storage which allowed to process and optimize quickly a large number of data and also to work with retrospective data since 2015, without entering changes into the system of the customer. As a result the solution allows to analyze indicators of activity of the company qualitatively.

Also implementation of mobile application of the Alpha-BI platform for top management using which it is possible to browse analytical panels and reports was a part of the project.
