GridGain Cloud is a cloud platform for caching of data in RAM with support of SQL, search "key value" and REST API.
According to developers, the GridGain Cloud platform is intended generally for cases when the powerful, but easily unrolled solution with support of SQL is required.
2018: GridGain Cloud Beta
The GridGain Systems company, enterprise solution provider for calculations in RAM based on Apache Ignite, announced on June 18, 2018 beta release of the cloud service of GridGain Cloud.
The cloud cache in RAM allows users to deploy the service quickly and to provide access to it using ANSI SQL - 99, to execute search "key value" or REST API. Cloud computing in RAM which can be scaled and unrolled easily within several minutes becomes result.
GridGain Cloud uses crucial elements of in-memory of the GridGain platform to provide performance, ease of deployment of a cloud cache and convenience of management in cases when these characteristics have first-priority value.
GridGain Cloud gives caching opportunities in RAM with support of the GridGain web console (interactive SQL), REST API, JDBC, ODBC and thin clients of Apache Ignite or GridGain. Using GridGain Cloud, any developer or the analyst with knowledge of SQL can start a cluster from the central console. During the entire period of beta testing which will last several months GridGain Systems will add additional features for a cloud service.
GridGain Cloud expands our arsenal of in-memory-solutions, supporting caching of data for cloud applicaions. Service is intended for those clients who do not need broad functionality of our flagman GridGain platform. The cloud platform is used in simpler cases, but provides the same high speed of work and a scaling option in hybrid infrastructure and also instant deployment and completely automated management — what users expect from cloud services — Abe Klyaynfield, the president and the CEO of GridGain Systems company commented on an event. |
As of June 18, GridGain provides free trial access to GridGain Cloud Beta.
