2018: Announcement of CrystalLive
On June 19, 2018 the Samsung Electronics company and its medical division Samsung Medison provided CrystalLive, new advanced technology of image processing at ultrasonic researches. With its help sharper three-dimensional image of internals of the person or an embryo in a womb of the expectant mother is provided, transfers the South Korean agency Yonhap News.
As the producer claims, the CrystalLive technology will help to increase the accuracy of the diagnosis of doctors and will allow to reveal possible congenital diseases at ultrasonography inspection of a fruit. Besides, thanks to the improved clearness future parents will be able to receive more detailed image of the yet not born child that will promote formation of affection for the kid.
Samsung also announced the output of the high-performance ultrasonography device with CrystalLive technology. The model under the name WS80A since June 19 will be available in the markets of South Korea, Europe and the USA.
It is planned that in process of obtaining permissions from local authorities new ultrasonography installation will appear also in other markets of the world. In the Russian Federation in the Russian representative office of Samsung Medison did not respond to the edition request for a possibility of acquisition of the device.
Using CrystalLive we are going to increase the accuracy and efficiency of ultrasonography diagnostics. We intend to accelerate implementation of our equipment in university clinics which need diagnostics of the highest level — the representative of Samsung Medison said.[1] |
Meanwhile, in the field of ultrasonic diagnostics Samsung conducts development of the CrystalVue technology allowing to consider not only appearance of a fruit, but also his internals. Besides, earlier South Korean vendor developed technology 5D Heart Color for pre-natal diagnosis of diseases of heart.
