The North Ossetian state university of K.L. Khetagurov — a higher educational institution of North Ossetia.
History
1969
On January 6, 1969 Council of Ministers of RSFSR Costa of Levanovich of Khetagurov decided to appropriate North Ossetian to the state university a name.
1967
On November 2, 1967 there is a Resolution of Council of Ministers of the USSR on the organization of the North Ossetian state university based on the North Ossetian teacher training college.
1938
In August, 1938 the institute of the first category with six faculties — the North Ossetian teacher training college was formed.
1930-1931
In 1930/31 academic years, except Ossetian, departments of the Checheno-Ingush and Dagestan language and literature were organized.
1924-1925
Since 1924/25 academic years, the institute received the name of Mountain teacher training college and it was offered to it to open linguistic national departments: Ossetian, Checheno-Ingush and Adygei.
1921-1922
During the further development according to refining of structure, curricula and programs the institute was repeatedly renamed. In 1921/22 academic year the institute began to hereinafter be referred to as Mountain institute of national education, and next academic year — Mountain practical institute of national education.
1920
The North Ossetian state university of K.L. Khetagurov was founded in 1920 under the name "Tersky Institute of National Education". The Tersky institute of national education became the first on all the North Caucasus. In it the following departments were open: preschool, schools of the first step, schools of the second step, labor processes. At institute short-term training courses for preschool and school workers worked.
