nVent Electric

nVent Electric plc (nVent) is a producer of the electrotechnical equipment. The company is formed at the end of April, 2018 by separation from Pentair concern. The cost of the company is estimated at $2.1 billion (data for June, 2018).

The head office nVent is located in London, office of management — in Minneapolis, the State of Minnesota (USA).

The company specializes in area of an invention of electric solutions which connect, protect and create the safe systems.

Business of the company consists of three segments:

• The Segment of solutions and services for protection of the electric networks and electronics is provided by the body, distribution guards, cabinets of the nVent Hoffman and nVent Schroff brands. Products have double-sided protection: protection of electric equipment against a working environment and people and against electrotechnical dangers. The nVent Hoffman brand includes the steel, corrosion-proof and nonmetallic body, building block solutions for the body and industrial cooling systems. Server cabinets, solutions for cooling of data processing centers, power sources, supports and the body enter a line of nVent Schroff.
• The Segment of management of temperature condition consists of end-to-end systems of management and tracking of thermal energy. The solutions nVent Raychem provide trace of thermal networks on industrial enterprises, infrastructure facilities and in buildings. Also components of heating systems, fireproof cables, cables and mats for heating of a floor, thermostats and controls enter a product line. The second brand of a segment – nVent Tracer – provides services in management of turnkey heating systems, including design, management of engineering projects and construction services.
• The Segment of electric and fixing solutions contains the components used for fixing, fastening and protection of the cable and wire systems. The nVent Erico brand offers components for electric protection, railway and transit connections, telecommunication installations and also utility and industrial facilities. The nVent Caddy trademark includes fixing and auxiliary products for wiring, seismic and fire protection, data transmission, heating systems, ventilation and conditioning.

2018

Start of the Russian sales

On June 28, 2018 nVent Electric plc announced start of sales in Russia. The company specializes in the electrotechnical equipment, the systems of connection and protection. Products of nVent are demanded in commercial construction, the industry, among the energy companies, data centers.

The innovative solutions of nVent help to optimize work, to reduce costs for installation and total ownership cost and also to minimize a downtime — Beth Wozniak, the chief executive of nVent told. — Having separated from Pentair concern, nVent reached an important milestone on the way of strengthening of positions in the electrotechnical industry. We are ready to grow, expand our presence in the key developed and developing regions, to invest in new products and solutions which will satisfy requests of each of our clients.

In Russia all range of products and technical solutions of nVent is available: the solution and services for protection of the electric networks and electronics (nVent Hoffman and nVent Schroff brands), products for management of temperature condition (Raychem and Tracer brands) and also electric and fixing solutions (Erico and Caddy brands). The company locates representation and plans its expansion.

Education

At the end of April, 2018 nVent Electric plc became the independent publicly traded company after separation from Pentair plc concern. The product line includes brands with more than century history: Caddy, Erico, Hoffman, Raychem, Schroff and Tracer.

Since May 1 the shares nVent began to be traded at the New York Stock Exchange.
