2019: Cooperation results

On May 29, 2019 PJSC Moscow City Telephone Network reported about a result of the cooperation with city administration of the Elektrostalmoskovsky region aimed at the development of the innovation telecommunication infrastructure of the city.

Until the end of 2019 the telecommunication network MGTS which is under construction on GPON technology will cover the vast majority economic, industrial and housing – more than 50,000 apartments, including in new buildings, – city facilities.

Within the investment agreement, MGTS undertook the obligation to build a high-speed data network on GPON technology. This network can become reference infrastructure for development of the Smart City program, implementation of digital platforms, involvement of inhabitants in the solution of city problems, implementation of the systems of intellectual accounting of utility resources, public and environmental safety, energy efficient city lighting, control of transport and other directions in the field of innovations and high technologies directed to quality improvement of life of the city district Elektrostal.

Thanks to our partnership with the city, until the end of 2019 the most part of the population of Elektrostal will be able to be connected to digital services of MGTS and to estimate their cost and quality. We are ready to invest in further development of the region and to provide the network for implementation and other projects using "smart" solutions for the house and city in the field of warm and energy saving, rational management of municipal municipal services and regulation of a transport load and also to consider additional investments into implementation of program items "The smart city" in the territory of the city".

2018: Partnership agreement

On June 29, 2018 PJSC Moscow City Telephone Network announced signing with city administration of the Elektrostalmoskovsky region of the agreement on the strategic partnership aimed at the development of the innovation telecommunication infrastructure of the city.

Within the agreement of MGTS in 2018-2019 will build in Elektrostal a high-speed data network on GPON technology and will connect to it the most part of housing, economic and industrial facilities of the city. The built network will become reference infrastructure for implementation of the state program "Digital economy of the Russian Federation", the different city projects directed to quality improvement of life of the city and providing a full range of modern communication services to residents of Elektrostal.

One of the main objectives of city administration — creation of the favorable environment for the investment attraction, especially in the field of high technologies. We consider cooperation with MGTS as the step to the digital future taken together with citizens, business and the power. The project thanks to which modern information technologies will become fully available to our city will allow to solve daily problems of the city quicker and more effectively and will have a positive impact on living conditions and work of elektrostalets.
