On July 2, 2018 the Neti company announced project completion on transition of Kerama Marazzi company from 1C: Payroll and HR Management 2.5 to 1C: Payroll and HR Management 3.

Earlier, in 2015, the Neti company assisted Kerama Marazzi in transition with 1C: Payroll 7.7 to the version of 1C: Payroll and HR Management 2.5. 2 plants which are territorially located in different places participated in the project. The customer set a condition that all calculations should happen to the minimum configuration changes, in order to avoid emergence of difficulties when updating the program.

As version 7.7 for many years was strongly finished, the Kerama Marazzi company could not use standard methods of transfer. Specialists of Neti were connected to the second line of consultations. Along with support line the request for developers was received. It was necessary to transfer a part of the completions implemented in ZIK on the updated platform. It was necessary to understand what completions are really necessary and what can be solved standard settings.

As a result transition was performed with the minimum changes of standard functionality. Several documents, registers were added, and the rest is implemented on external reports and processings. The project on transition took 6 months and then passed into a maintenance stage.

Having worked 2 years in version 2.5, Kerama Marazzi was required to perform transition to version 3 as the version of 1C: Payroll and HR Management 2.5 is not supported since January 1, 2018.

The Neti company was connected to works on branches which 19. Earlier the company already worked with these branches, developing non-standard reports and processings, upon transition to ZUP 3.1 they were required to be adapted. On transition of branches work was begun in the summer of 2017 and for June, 2018 all works are completed, transition to the next version of a system at all enterprises is made.

The project on transfer of two main manufacturing enterprises was begun in September, 2017, from January to April, 2018 parallel operation in ZUP 2.5 and ZUP 3.1 was conducted. According to the results of the first payroll calculation for May, 2018 without duplication in ZUP 2.5 the project was recognized complete and passed into a maintenance stage.

During operating time over the project 1C company released 3 editions that led to increase in originally planned term of works since because of cardinal changes in releases and corrections of critical errors by 1C company it was impossible to be recorded on any one release, it was necessary made at the time of an exit of release to test everything and sometimes to overwork again.

During the project the following delivery were implemented:

  • In the version of 1C: Payroll and HR Management 3.1 automated a time recording. Kerama Marazzi has a specific time recording as work goes in shifts, it is a lot of overtime, surcharge for night and festive shifts. All this needed to be calculated in the program automatically. In the previous versions did it through several iterations.
  • Developed the special document which allowed to register data to timekeepers. Shop on each division register a worked time. The program on the basis of these primary data, automatically calculates working time, overtime, work in holidays and other.
  • Also automated calculation for different types of awards, for own calculations and the Customer's politicians.
  • The difficult mechanism of recalculations for previous periods is implemented.

Within the project on transition to 1C: Payroll and HR Management by 3 employees of Neti user training (accounting, personnel department) is also provided.
