FM Logistic tested exchange of the electronic way bill in Synerdocs service

In May, 2018 3-PL FM Logistic operator for the first time carried out run using electronic way bills (ETRN). The Synerdocs service acted as the technical partner of the project.

In February FM Logistic and Synerdocs started a pilot project on exchange of ETRN — one of first successfully implemented in Russia. Two months later specialists prepared the solution considering tasks and business processes of the logistic company and also her partners.

Test exchange of ETRN took place between FM Logistic and Levi’s — the specialist with key clients of Synerdocs Bakayeva Iraida tells. — The staff of FM Logistic exposed in service of exchange electronic documents on the cargo dispatched from a warehouse situated near Moscow to Moscow. The driver carried clothes, footwear and accessories on shops of corporate network Levi's.

As explain in FM Logistic, for testing Moscow selected solutions not casually. Transportations in the capital have the specifics: goods are delivered at night, it affects the speed of execution of the order and specifics of night control. Thanks to ETRN business processes take place much quicker: electronic documents in Synerdocs service quickly are created, go and signed — everything occurs within several minutes.

Results and plans

Specialists of FM Logistic noted pluses of transition to ETRN and warrants for receipt of a load in electronic form:

• considerable reduction of payment due dates of services;
• exception of losses of documents;
• low costs of processing, storage and document retrieval.

Testing showed that the solution completely answers business challenges of the transport industry of the Russian Federation and is ready to use in commercial transportations. Its results met our expectations. The company goes the way digitalizations in many fields of activity, the translation of documents in an electronic form is key need of our clients" — the manager of group of client support and scheduling of FM Logistic Anna Stazayeva says.

Until the end of summer the company together with Synerdocs is going to carry out some more test runs using the electronic waybill.
