DPD uses Oracle Management Cloud for optimization of IT infrastructure

On July 3, 2018 it became known that DPD selected Oracle Management Cloud services for optimization of IT infrastructure, including monitoring of microservice architecture and applications from containers.

Platform services Oracle Management Cloud are included into the Oracle Cloud Platform portfolio and integrate a complex of cloud services for the integrated monitoring, management and profound IT analytics which use machine learning technology and Big Data for work with all types of operational these clients. They help service of operation, to IT heads, developers, administrators and architects to increase stability of the IT environment, to prevent unforeseen failures at the level of infrastructure and business applications and also to enhance information security on all corporate landscape.

The choice of cloud services of Oracle became the answer to needs of the customer for monitoring of IT architecture. The uniqueness of project implementation consists that monitoring takes place at any option of deployment of infrastructure of the customer, whether it be own infrastructure, clouds or the hybrid scenario. Thus, for business and IT service does not matter in what environment applications work. Receiving in real time of a status of applications in containers and monitoring of microservices, in particular memory leaks was the additional requirement. For the solution of these tasks in DPD company are going to use Oracle Application Performance Monitoring Cloud Service from a line of Oracle Management Cloud.

From the most significant positive effects for the company It should be noted cutting of costs for management of IT due to improvement of planning of computing powers and resources, acceleration of identification and elimination of errors and technical incidents, at the different levels from infrastructure to business applications, optimization as the existing IT landscape, and preparation for future more large-scale transition to cloud computing.
