DeNet.Storage is the decentralized data warehouse.
2018: Start of testing of storage
The DeNet IT company started on July 5, 2018 testing of the next version of the decentralized DeNet.Storage data warehouse. According to developers, the solution allows to solve, at least, two problems connected with entry into force of the Yarovaya Law: provides protection of personal and commercial data and reduces storage expenses.
The main difference of DeNet.Storage from normal cloud services consists in a method of storage and data processing, told in DeNet. In hostless system fragments of information are ciphered and distributed between thousands of independent capacities. Lack of a uniform information processing center as in the centralized network, excludes access to someone else's information.
Registration in DeNet.Storage does not require input of personal data and even the e-mail address. The anonymity and safety are ensured by the system of authorization using a private key and digital signatures of ECDSA.
As you know, the issue of online security began to be discussed actively in Russia with entry into force of the Yarovaya Law on July 1 again. Now the telecom companies and Internet services are obliged to store all content of users within half a year. Here personal data, correspondence, video, images, records of voice calls enter.
As well as at most of ordinary Internet users and cellular communication, performance of the law causes in us concern. First, the personal data of millions of users concentrated in one place become vulnerable to the attacks of hackers. Where a guarantee that your personal correspondence will not snare? Secondly, performance of the law will involve high additional costs from the companies. MTS, for example, Veon (Beeline) — in 45 billion rubles estimated costs at 60 billion rubles within 5 years. Finally it will lead to increase in rates for subscribers. Our technology could resolve these issues. So, we can localize servers within the country as that is required by the law — Pavel Litvyakov, the cofounder of DeNet noted. |
One more unevident problem — increase in number of capacities of data centers for storage of large volumes of information. It will lead also to bigger energy consumption, and to harm of ecology due to greenhouse effect. With the decentralized services of these effects it is possible to avoid as here already existing free capacities are involved and there is no need to provide with energy huge territories, consider in DeNet.
The software of DeNet allows to integrate millions of computers in a single network for data storage. Such computers and servers with the underloaded capacities — a basis of DeNet network. According to the company, for their effective use infrastructure and multimillion investments is not necessary. In the closest plans of the company — building of this network. Negotiations with a number of the partners ready to use DeNet.Storage for storage of the data are already conducted.
It is possible to test service free of charge on storage.denet.store.
