2018: Asus AiMesh AX6100
On June 20, 2018 the ASUS company provided the house Wi-fi system of Asus AiMesh AX6100 – the compact device for mesh networks which distributes a signal between a set of nodes for the maximum covering in big houses. Routers of ASUS with support of standard 802.11ax are compatible to technology of mesh networks AiMesh allowing to integrate several routers in a single network, but the AiMesh AX6100 system is developed especially for mesh networks. Consisting of two devices, a system provides the expanded area of a covering of a signal which is not leaving "blind people" of zones. As additional nodes it is possible to add to the created mesh network and other routers, compatible to AiMesh, even if they support only standard 802.11ac, noted in ASUS
According to the statement of the developer, AiMesh AX6100 Wi-Fi it is a powerful three-band system with peak total capacity to 6100 Mbps. The main part of traffic at the same time is transferred in the frequency range of 5 GHz of standard 802.11ax with capacity 4804 Mbps. This range is used for high-speed communication between nodes of a mesh system. One more channel with the frequency range of 5 GHz with capacity of 866 Mbps is provided for standard 802.11ac, and a separate band in the range of 2.4 GHz with capacity of 400 Mbps – for connection of older devices.
Wi-Fi the AiMesh AX6100 system will go on sale in the III quarter 2018.[1]
