Naryanmarneftegaz LLC formed in Naryan-Mar (Nenets Autonomous Okrug) in December, 2001 works in the field of complex mastering and operation of oil and gas fields in the Timano-Pechorsky oil-and-gas province in borders of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. In 2005 the company underwent structural changes: based on the existing enterprise the joint venture in which control is exercised on a parity basis, 50% for 50%, of Russian Lukoil and the American Conoco Phillips was created. Creation of joint venture and existence of territorially remote offices complicated internal communications between employees, knowledge of personnel of external and internal activity of the enterprise decreased.
