Digital Design updated mobile application of Severstal

The Digital Design company announced on July 20, 2018 completion of updating of the mobile application Severstal info intended for the staff of Severstal company. Upgraded version of the application became more practical and interactive — employees got access to functionality of Personal account, polls and working documents. On a response of the customer, the updated application was already downloaded by more than 5 thousand employees of Severstal.

The project on development of mobile corporate application for the staff of Severstal company started in 2016. Since then changes not only regarding architecture which improved operability of the application, but also regarding functional filling and the interface were made to release.

Originally the solution was developed for online access to up-to-date corporate information from personal mobile devices that allowed all staff of Severstal, regardless of existence of continuous access to the computer to get news, to watch releases of TV program, to read and comment on articles of the corporate newspaper.

So, if in the first application version integration into the electronic newspaper, Severstal-TV channel and the internal portal provided to users access from personal devices to media content of the company, then in (second) application version, relevant for July, 2018, in addition, users got access to functionality of the Personal account, documents for carrying out workers of meetings and also a possibility of participation in polls.

At the same time access to personal account is provided as directly in the application, and via the browser for what in the application it is possible to make the corresponding settings. At the same time, in the application it is possible to place documents for carrying out workers of meetings where each employee sees documents only of the division.

The updated application Severstal info is available to downloading for devices based on Android and Windows. Updating for iOS should appear in the fall of 2018.
