LWCOM constructed DPC for "The St. Petersburg social commercial bank"

On July 23, 2018 it became known that JSC St. Petersburg Social Commercial Bank (further "PSKB") within the project on upgrade and optimization of online-services decided to create the distributed DPC for service of financial transactions. The LWCOM company which became equipment supplier and professional services for planning and implementing solutions was engaged in accomplishment of this task.

For providing the highest level of reliability and performance with a basis of the project there were solutions for DPC networks – Cisco companies.

Within the project upgrade of network infrastructure of the available DPC and solution development for additional DPC were joint. At the same time focus when implementing this project was made on the following functional aspects:

• increase in level of fault tolerance and reliability of services due to geographical reservation;
• increase in elasticity of services for the realization account of opportunities of mobility of workloads between DPC platforms.

Specialists of LWCOM developed design of the solution and executed its implementation. The plan of implementing solutions for seamless migration of the services functioning in production on additional infrastructure was worked out, at the same time the adjacent works performed by the Customer's specialists on IT infrastructure and services were considered, thus, brownfield integration into the existing working infrastructure was executed.

The LWCOM command developed the program of complex integration tests for iterations of implementation of changes in infrastructure for the purpose of risk minimization at stages of implementation and the subsequent its operation.

IT infrastructure is the main business tool of Bank, and data processing centers – its strategic asset. Thanks to work of the service LWCOM command we could minimize the risks connected with independent implementing solutions in working infrastructure and the subsequent operation of infrastructure.
