2018: OPS Slot-in PC based on Intel Core, OPS Slot-in PC based on Intel Atom and External Micro PC
On July 25, 2018 the NEC Display Solutions Europe company announced release of devices of Digital Signage (Digital Signage) for reproduction of multimedia and IT transactions. The company began deliveries of a series of the built-in PCs (Slot-in PC) based on the open NEC Open Modular intelligence (OMi) platform which provides intellectual and seamless connection of a source of content and the display for creation of shirokofunktsionalny, specialized and perspective digital information advertisement panels.
According to the statement of the developer, OPS Slot-in PC is a built-in computer which supports a broad spectrum of scenarios of use: from static reproduction of content to the most exacting, interactive applications and applications with high resolution. The broad spectrum of tasks - from advertizing in retail trade and Digital street advertizing (digital-out-of-home, DooH) to signs of the menu, food and drinks, pointers of routes on transport, information screens, digital trailers and many others concerns them.
The built-in devices are equipped processors Intel Core the last, seventh generation - Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7. They simplify installation, use and service of devices, facilitate upgrade of digital signs. A variety of the replaceable products Slot-in RS along with ample opportunities of customization allows to create specialized solutions which conform to individual requirements. They eliminate need for external sources of content, providing the solution for digital information advertisement panels "all-water", consider in NEC Display Solutions.
Along with OPS Slot-in PC with Core processors the NEC Display Solutions company released two additional products: the inexpensive OPS Slot-in PC with the Quad Core Intel Atom processor providing an optimal combination of the price and performance, and an external microcomputer of External Micro PC. The last has the similar processor in the version of Entry, but is intended for support of independent operation when on displays there is no OPS slot or when several displays use one system of reproduction.
