LG HU85L (CineBeam Laser 4K)

On December 21, 2018 the LG Electronics company (LG) provided a projector of the second generation of CineBeam Laser 4K (HU85L model) with Ultra Short Throw (UST) technology. This product is selected thanks to the minimum requirements to an empty seat and compact construction which provides the high definition of a projection of 4K-images practically on any flat surfaces: walls, floor or ceiling.

Thanks to UST technology the projector of LG CineBeam Laser 4K has enough distance slightly more than two inches from a wall to project the image with a diagonal of 90 inches. At placement at distance of 7 inches the projector reproduces much larger, but still bright image with a diagonal of 120 inches. Simple and effective in installation, this compact device offers a high image quality of cinema scale, claim in LG.

According to the statement of the producer, with a brightness of 2500 ANSI lumen and projector with a resolution of 4K UHD LG CineBeam Laser 4K guarantees the bright and sharp image and a good black level for gain of effect of immersion of the viewer. The HU85L model from LG reproduces colors with a high accuracy thanks to the broad range of flowers enhancing realness of each image. The projector of LG also offers a set of options of interaction with content: users can watch streaming videos of movies and series through the favourite services, and USB connectors, Ethernet and HDMI offer additional connectivities.

The projector has very compact size, and it can be transferred and arranged with ease under any conditions, saving time and at once starting the main thing — viewing. LG CineBeam Laser 4K, according to the producer, is less than other leading 4K-projectors, and his design is reserved and will not prevent viewing that does LG HU85L by attractive addition for any space. This modern projector offers the increased visual accuracy with function of 12-point keystone correction which are often characteristic of other UST projectors, noted in LG.

The projector of LG CineBeam Laser 4K, according to the producer, provides the maximum convenience to the user thanks to use of the artificial intelligence technology allowing clients to use voice commands for access to functionality of natural language processing by artificial intelligence from LG — ThinQ. Users can tell: "Switch off a projector when the movie" for management of work of a projector ends or "Include video about yoga with YouTube" to narrow search range. Users can browse lists of movies with participation of favourite actors and select content, dictating commands in the enclosed Magic Remote control panel. Magic Remote will also recognize gestures and has buttons with illumination which joins automatically at the movement, for simplicity of navigation.

LG HU80KG и HU80KSW

On July 27, 2018 the LG Electronics company presented at the Russian market 2 models of laser projectors LG HU80KG (in black color) and HU80KSW (in white color).

As noted in LG company, projectors of HU80KG and HU80KSW differ in unusual design: the narrow extended body provides different options of installation of a projector – it can be delivered vertically, horizontally or to fix under a ceiling, and the mirror in a cover of a lens allows to change quickly projection height in vertical direction. The image can be projected both on the screen or a wall, and on a ceiling that provides a set of options of use. Projectors of LG HU80KG and HU80KSW are equipped with a power supply cord which when clicking the button automatically cleans up, being reeled up on the coil in the body, and is easily extended outside. The big handle allows to transfer a projector one hand.

According to the statement of the producer, 4K UHD laser projectors of LG HU80KG and HU80KSW provide the bright, detailed and realistic image thanks to permission 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) and to the expanded color range of HDR10. Models are equipped multifunction operating system webOS 3.5 with a set of the built-in online applications, the remote control Magic Remote and own a stereo the speaker system. Projectors are equipped with the laser and phosphorus light source generating a luminous flux up to 2500 ANSI lumen that will allow the viewer to watch video even in the lit premises. Each model provides the image with a diagonal up to 150 inches.

Projectors of LG HU80KG and HU80KSW are equipped with HDMI and USB connectors for playing of media files from external carriers and also provide synchronization with external acoustics on Bluetooth.
