ELAR created an electronic collection of exhibits of the park of arts Muzeon

On August 1, 2018 ELAR corporation announced project completion on art photofixing of funds of the park of arts Muzeon. The received images are used for placement in the State directory of Museum fund of the Russian Federation and creation of printed materials of the museum.

During the project photofixing more than 500 sculptures was carried out. Exhibits from a collection of storages of the museum (a sculpture and painting) and park sculptures entered a selection. Art photographing became feature of the project: as a rule, for filling of Goskataloga tools of the art photo are seldom used.

It was the special project, at standard photofixing shooting goes a flow, without art coloring, and the main focus during creation of images is placed on fixing of a current status of an exhibit. Here we together with the keeper of the museum built a frame to imprint not only sculptures, but also mood which they transfer, to try to transfer by art language of the photo their cultural value. Shooting of sculptures from materials of dark tones, bronze and a stone became the most difficult. Without studio lighting it was necessary to approach with imagination assigned tasks. For Muzeon made the personal program of photographing, taking into account the maximum safety and observance of safety rules for exhibits. Each sculpture was removed from several foreshortenings at natural daylight illumination. Shooting became one more original line of the project in the open air:

Creation of electronic collections — one of the priority directions of development of the museums worldwide. Use of modern technologies allows to create photoimages of any museum pieces and is the instrument of promoting of world cultural values.

In addition to the key purpose – entering of qualitative images in intra museum electronic base and Goskatolog of the Russian Federation, the received images it is going to use for publications in media, directories, for creation printing and souvenirs. The quality of a photo also allowed to record a status of safety of exhibits that in case of plunder, damage or vandalism we had an opportunity to recover invaluable objects of art.
