It turned out that that "not cracked" the hardware cryptocurrency wallet is constructed on simple Android smartphone from which took some component parts, including the module of cellular communication. The device is controlled the MediaTek MT6580 processor  and on the amount of components can cost no more than $35.

Specialists of PEN Test Partners  sorted Bitfi and revealed in the device several shortcomings connected with security at once. So, the display it is unsafe it is connected to a payment on not ciphered protocol therefore hackers can browse that users gather on the screen. Besides, the purse did not react to third-party intervention in any way — adaptation can be sorted and investigated, and it will continue to work.

John McAfee still believes in security of Bitfi and said that it is impossible to call a purse cracked until from it withdrew money.[1]
