Kraftway automated gushing complexes at VDNH

On August 9, 2018 the Kraftway company announced carrying out in the first half of 2018 of works on automation of gushing complexes at VDNH.

As it was reported, specialists of the company designed, installed and configured control systems of access, the security fire warning, the video surveillance and automatic monitoring and management of 14 fountains of Centralnaya Avenue of VDNH and the well-known fountain "Gold Ear" located in the Third Kamensk pond in the territory of the All-Russia Exhibition Centre.

Prerequisites

According to the company, the gushing complex of Centralnaya Avenue represents two synchronously working groups on 7 fountains in everyone. Feature of the Gold Ear fountain, one of the main attractions of VDNH, its placement in the water area of artificially created pond is that created additional difficulties when implementing technical solutions.

Fountains at VDNH ̶ rather difficult hydraulic engineering constructions which smooth functioning is performed thanks to work to the local automated control system with data transmission on a workplace of the manager of the operations control room created in "northern" pumping Centralnaya Avenue fountains and in the main dispatching center State Budgetary Institution Gormost. After complex reconstruction of a gushing complex of Centralnaya Avenue and the Gold Ear fountain before State Budgetary Institution Gormost there was a need of integration of the engineering systems of these constructions into the general dispatching system and also acceptances of additional measures for ensuring safety of a gushing complex, to increase in level of its security and prevention of vandalism.

Project Progress

As it was reported, for needs of State Budgetary Institution Gormost specialists of Kraftway company set a specialized hardware and software system which was integrated into the infrastructure which is already available for the customer. As a hardware platform for deployment of an APCS and for the organization of data storage well proved entrusted Kraftway servers were selected. The volume of a disk subsystem allotted under video data is 86tb and allows to store archive of videos of all connected video cameras in the FULL HD format within not less than 30 days. Workstations, video cameras and the Kraftway switches, PCS programmable logic controllers, devices of the security, fire warning and access control and ancillary equipment also were a part of the complete solution. All necessary information and management tools are output to HMI panels which are built in directly control cabinets and also on an automated workplace of the manager of an operations control room in "northern" pumping Centralnaya Avenue fountains. Information on events and the status of operation of the equipment, signals from the systems of the security, fire warning, control and access control and also video data from surveillance cameras are transferred to a single system of the centralized monitoring of the engineering equipment and security of objects of State Budgetary Institution Gormost.

Engineers of Kraftway executed all necessary construction and commissioning, including laying of cables, installation and setup of operation of the equipment and software.

Project Results

According to representatives of the company, the created complex allows specialists of State Budgetary Institution Gormost of a message the round-the-clock visual control behind a gushing complex and the adjacent territory, to manage remotely fountains and decorative illumination according to the necessary diagram in the automatic, automated and manual modes. The unrolled APCS allows to regulate a pressure of water and height of a water stream, to control keyword parameters of functioning of the equipment, to synchronize work of both lines of fountains of a complex of "Centralnaya Avenue", to monitor operation of filters of water, to provide protection of electric motors of pumps and also to quickly obtain information on emergency situations and to carry out in case of need emergency shut-off of the equipment.
