MMZ completed the project on implementation of industrial Internet of Things on production Forward

On August 14, 2018 the Digit company reported that the Moscow machine-building plant "VPERED" completed the project on implementation of industrial Internet of Things on production.

The machine park of the plant is connected to the Russian monitoring system of industrial equipment Manager developed by Tsifra company.

The Manager system collects objective data on work of industrial equipment in real time. It allows to carry out the comprehensive analysis of productive activity and to make timely management decisions.

Monitoring gives the enterprise detailed information on loading of the equipment, operation of each machine, a production process of any part. Besides, digitization of data from machines allowed to import them to a production scheduling system.

On MMZ "Forward" the Manager system helped to define the reasons of inefficient use of machines. Their elimination reduced idle time of the machine park on average by 10%. Besides, project implementation allowed to automate interaction between workshops of the enterprise, to make transparent calculation of quarter awards.

System implementation Manager allowed us to receive the tool for more effective management of production. For August, 2018 120 machines are connected, and more than 70% of the state are involved in digital workflows: it both operators of machines, and heads of workshops, and management of the enterprise.
