Plato Engineering resolved an issue with processing of big documents using Foxit PhantomPDF

On August 27, 2018 the company Forvelsoft reported that the project company "Engineering plateau" resolved an issue with processing of big documents with the help Foxit PhantomPDF.

According to the company, the tasks connected with processing of the PDF documents of the big sizes (300-400 MB) and a different format (from A6 to A0) are solved using Foxit PhantomPDF Standart. The project company made replacement of Adobe Acrobat by the products Foxit in 24 workplaces.

Plato Engineering began the project which purpose was an ensuring processing of the volume PDF documents (300-400 MB) and also processings of the PDF-documents of A0, A1 format. Such formats often occur in the project documentation, and not in the form of separate documents and as a part of a big array.

As it was reported, till 2017 the problem was solved with the help of programs of the Adobe family, but there was a problem with "hangup" that led to dead time and data. When the license renewal term came, the command of Plato Engineering began search of alternatives. Test use of Foxit PhantomPDF which confirmed that the product copes with processing of the raznoformatny PDF documents (to A0 inclusive) was carried out, the customer estimated high processing speed.

As of 2018 the product is operated in 24 workplaces, the customer representative Dmitry Polevoy noted that the task is solved complete volume. Time and strength of highly paid employees are spent for development of the project documentation, but not for reset of programs and the equipment. Continuation of cooperation is planned.
