On August 28, 2018 the NFWare company announced start in network a telecom of FSM Telecom operator of the product NFWare Virtual CG-NAT who will allow to cope with deficit of IPv4 of the addresses in the Federal States of Micronesia.
vCGNAT provides flexible and effective solution of shortage of IPv4 of the addresses, acting as an alternative to their expensive lease. In 2012 the quantity of the addresses was officially exhausted, and many operators pass to CG-NAT technology which distributes a pool of the IP addresses between several subscribers. The software solution NFWare vCGNAT, unlike popular foreign analogs, works on standard widely available servers, providing high performance and giving all range of functionality.
Using NFWare Virtual CGNAT we managed to cut down expenses and to expand our current customer base of clients without the need for acquisition of an extra address space of IPv4 from APNIC. Bernard Mendis, Chief information officer of FSM Telecom
