On August 30, 2018 the Advanta Consulting company announced system implementation of project portfolio management and a circuit of project budgeting of Advant in one of diversified holdings of Kazakhstan - Alina group.

Project Goals and Objectives

To system implementation in the company there were no regular processes of project management, project managers and top management could not obtain up-to-date data on the statuses and financial performance of projects.

The company management for integrator set the following objects:

  • carrying out process automation of project management and system implementation of project management by a method of control points.
  • implementation of process of budgeting of projects in a system.

Project Tasks:

  • Provide top management and project managers with up-to-date and reliable information about financial performance of the project.
  • Reduce time for preparation of the reporting for the management.
  • Increase the involvement and level of performing discipline of participants of project teams.

"During the project works on setup of a system under specifics of our projects were performed, key users are trained, a transfer of our project portfolio from the MS Project Server system on the Advanta system is made. Actually executed amount of works considerably exceeded contractual commitments. During solution development reengineering of the regulations existing in the company and business processes of project management was carried out".

Main results:

  • Based on the Advanta platform the automated control system for a project portfolio with ready methodology of control of projects is created.
  • Projects are structured in a system on control points.
  • Corporate statements, panel of the head (dashbord) and auxiliary cubes are configured.
  • Integration with an information system of the Customer Payment schedule is made.
  • The budget model of the project is created. Reference books on registration of plans and the facts of financial activities are configured.
  • Process of registration of the facts of payments is automated.
  • Training of a project team, administrators, the management and users in bases of project management and the principles of work in a system is provided.
  • Reports on performing discipline of participants of project activity are configured.
  • The uniform communication portal for geographically remote branches and the companies of holding is created.
  • Further completion of a system is available during operation by the customer's forces
