2018: Representation of Qrator.Ingress service
On September 04, 2018 the Qrator Labs company provided the Qrator.Ingress service intended for protection of infrastructure of telecom operators and hosting providers against DDoS attacks.
Qrator.Ingress is designed for security of infrastructure of operators of the Internet services and hosting providers interested in protection of the network and, respectively, resources of the clients from the distributed attacks on failure in service. Having high scalability on demand and the global loading distributed by balancing, Qrator.Ingress is capable to detect and filter excess traffic automatically.
In a traditional data processing center counteraction to DDoS attacks at the level of infrastructure is possible using such methods as increase in network transmission capacity or system deployment of neutralization of the distributed attacks on failure in service. Qrator.Ingress allows to project independently architecture of network to have an opportunity to scale a system and to process essential volumes of traffic without big capital investments and excessive complexity.
The Qrator.Ingress network has several points of presence that gives the chance to counterbalance loading, smoothing amount of requests on each node that means global availability of network and redirection on a protected resource only of target traffic.
Making cleaning of the incoming traffic in each region, Ingress provides access to a set of Internet connections and allows to set peer-to-peer interaction, providing optimal capacity and the minimum delays for all end users.
Many centers of traffic filtering Qrator.Ingress are located close to large points of exchange of Internet traffic that gives support from the international telecom operators and large feasts which will help to provide availability and fault tolerance of network even during the work with large volumes of traffic.
Many widespread DDoS attacks, such as SYN-flood or UDP- flood, are neutralized by Ingress and do not reach network of the customer. When Ingress detects the similar attacks, service automatically absorbs additional traffic, but it does not mean any additional costs for the client. Ingress does not depend on a service package, so, any traffic – TCP (SSH) UDP SMTP FTP, Vo IP and the proprietary or configured protocols – is processed equally.
The global network of Qrator.Ingress has capacity more than 2 Tbit / with and a possibility of processing of 1.5 billion packets per second. After activation service blocks the attack within 30 seconds. In panels of monitoring of real time data on traffic of the attacks, including types of vectors, traffic on indicators of range of PoP and IP are displayed.
Basis of Qrator.Ingress is the Qrator Labs network having multiterabit capacity and potential of high-capacity batch processing for instant filtering of the most widespread DDoS attacks of L3-L4 levels.
At Qrator.Ingress solution development we were guided by the purpose to create efficient service for protection of infrastructure of telecom operators and a hosting of providers from a large number of DDoS attacks and enclosed all the accumulated experience in area of the analysis and filtering of Internet traffic. Use of Qrator.Ingress will allow operators of Internet services to construct failsafe architecture for protection against many typical types of DDoS attacks of the infrastructure and application layer.
