CyberPower on protection of cultural heritage of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

On September 5, 2018 it became known that the Computer Salon LLC company provided with smooth operation multimedia halls and the SO GBUK engineering systems of the Museum and memorial Victory complex.

The regional multimedia complex is a part of the large-scale cultural, patriotic and educational project. In the historical park in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk for September, 2018 of 4 big halls and about 86 exhibition spaces. Visual solutions of multimedia exposures are created using acceptances of video graphics, animation, 3D modeling, digital reconstruction.

It was necessary to propose the reliable solution on protection and ensuring smooth operation of the equipment of two big multimedia halls and all engineering system of a complex as that RPE, a video surveillance system and emergency lighting, the pumping equipment, the ACS. The additional complexity in work was created by very limited space which was taken away on equipment installation. The project lasted actually year and was successfully complete at the end of 2017.

For the solution of all above the sounded tasks the equipment CyberPower, namely three systems of uninterrupted power of modular type of the Smart Modular (SM) series was selected. For protection of the equipment of multimedia halls the 180 kVA and 200 kVA systems were used, for protection of an engineering complex the 150 kVA no break power supply system with a possibility of expansion to 300 kVA is installed. Each UPS, in turn, was equipped with a battery office for providing necessary autonomy, temperature sensors and SNMP cards for full condition monitoring of network, a charge of batteries, etc.

Certain difficulties at installation of the equipment created the constrained conditions for work. The UPS needed to be placed not in specially allotted premises, and in technical passes between installations that caused an additional task of distribution of inflow of a cold air and branch hot. These tasks were solved by engineers of Computer Salon LLC company at the professional grade in the terms required on the project.
